Welcome to the information page about the CAS office move, which will take place throughout 2025 and the first few months of 2026.
The Department of the Study of Religion and Department of Theology will leave buildings 1451 and 1453 in the first quarter of 2026. Before then, we need to make space for our colleagues from these buildings by rearranging offices in buildings 1461, 1463, 1465, and 1467, as well as preparing offices on Tåsingegade.
If you have not yet received information about whether you will need to move offices within your department, you will soon be informed.
All coordination of the internal relocation process will be handled by relocation coordinator Marie Klithede, who can also answer any questions about the relocation that you do not find answered here.
This page will be updated regularly with more information.
Office relocations take place during designated moving weeks (see schedule) and are carried out by a moving company, with all communication handled through the moving coordinator. Employees therefore only need to pack up their office and place labels on the moving boxes and furniture to be relocated, indicating where the office items should be delivered (building and room number).
Please also label whiteboards, pictures etc. that you wish to bring with you to your new office.
During renovation weeks (see schedule), the offices involved in the relocation process are prepared and made ready.
On Thursdays in renovation weeks, assistance is available for hanging pictures, notice boards, etc. This service must be requested by sending an email to Marie Klithede.
The timeline for office relocations has been sent to all employees affected by the interim move. If you are missing information about your moving date, please contact Marie Klithede.
You must pack up your office the day before the movers arrive. This means you need to make sure that all loose items in your office are packed into boxes, and that all boxes and furniture to be moved are labeled with information about where they should be relocated to.
Anything without a label will be removed. Labels will be distributed or can be collected from Marie Klithede.
It is important that you pack your items according to Movato’s packing guide. The packing guide is in Danish. Contact Marie Klithede if you need help with translation of the packing guide.
Boxes must not weigh more than 18 kg.
Please contact Marie Klithede if you need help packing up your office, if you are missing moving labels, or if you have any questions regarding the packing process.
Since the office move will generate a significant amount of waste, we have decided to set up a waste disposal area in Nobelparken, in front of building 1481.
This will allow for proper disposal of waste related to packing up offices.
Waste sorting: We have established a waste disposal area outside building 1481 for moving-related waste:
One container for paper/cardboard
One container for residual waste (only for items such as ring binders, folders, office supplies, etc. – not for everyday general waste)
One bin for iron and metal
One for plastic
One bin for electronics (NOT computers, monitors, printers, etc. – these must be delivered to Arts IT or you can give it to Marie Klithede and she will take care of it)
Books: It is not allowed to throw books into the paper/cardboard container, as books contain other materials as well.
We are therefore arranging with students to set up bookshelves in the day-study areas and Friday bars, where teachers can leave books they think may benefit students. If you choose to throw out books, you need to put them the container for residual wase.
Otherwise for now, books can be placed in bookcases at:
Globarl (1465-115)
Panta Rei (1465-515)
Axis Mundi (1451-117)
